Okay now hear me out. When I am driving I wear a full face (please read previous post regarding reckless motorcycle drivers I drive excessive speeds). A guy fucks up his face going down they say "damn that's messed up". A chick fucks up her face going down they say "DAMN THAT BITCH IS FUCKED UP"!! I gotta protect my assests. (However when I ride bitch I don't like to wear my skully). I they sold iron masks I would might consider that instead. lol

Wearing a full face for protection cos you like riding @ excessive speeds is like pissing in the wind.
I guess I dont understand what youre saying Pp cos regardless if youre the rider or if your place is on the bitchpad...if your bike goes down and you eat asphalt, chances are yer face could get fucked up-lid or no lid.

Do you notice the guys are praying for death if they go down and women are worried about if they are going to look OK when they go down? hhmm, sounds like a show.

(If I was mentally sound, I wouldn't be riding)

I dont think so Hoss. Im not one of those women. Shep & I have had a couple close calls thru the years. Now, when this happens, Im not thinking about my beauty. What goes thru my mind is somethin like this ...OH CHEESUS GOD PLEEEEASE DONT LET US DIE and then I check my pants to make sure I didnt shit myself.

You know what I really hate is when your in a turn and they counter-balance b/c they feel like they're falling over and it creates a most unique situation where even though you care for them you want to strangle'em b/c they aren't trusting your judgment and NOW you are having to work harder to keep the turn going...IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO RIDE, just say so. I mean dammit we can compensate or teach you what to do...

ANYWAY, the best response to this is:

WE HAVE A CHOICE, BE WISE IN WHAT YOU DO OR DON'T DO, but CHOOSE TO LIVE FREE ! ! !

There are times I don't mind the helmet, usually on the freeway where the average speed around here is 80mph, it helps protect from rocks that get kicked up. It is also good for wind noise, without it I cannot hear my music.

However on short trips or surface streets, I do admit, I don't wear it. Too hard to turn my head to see the traffic coming up along side of me... and sometimes when I am weaving traffic, that can be bothersome and dangerous.

Now that it's getting cold here, I have my helmet, gloves, sweatshirt, 2 jackets and I can hardly move on the bike. I am thinking, shit, I might as well be in a car. I was just curious if anyone else felt this way.

When I am forced to wear the lid, (especially on the interstate.makes me feel like my melon is going to get ripped off cos of the parachute effect.) I get bitchy. When I havta wear chaps cos its cold or rainy, I get bitchy. I too dont like to be burdened with the extra gear you have to wear sometimes.

I get that too with my helmet.... I was told it's too big and that's why it happens.... however, on longer rides, i get a headache so I am not sure it is too big. But man that strap will kill my jaw at times.
