Anybody replace wellnuts" on their harley fairing?...Mine are pulling out. I'm the second owner and I think they have the wrong style nuts they are brass with splined edges..I've tried glueing them and even JB welding them ,they always pull out. Stealership said they are supposed to be nuts with a rubber ring that expands to hold them in place.. its an easy fix I guess- just wondering if anyone else had to replace these ever? also my OE shifter linkage needs replaced and all though my bike is full of the Harley skull pattern , I DONT wanna spend 150$ on a shift linkage..I want the see-through ball bearing ones (new style)..not the pivot point ones..any Ideas for cheaper, but nice looking linkage?...cheap ones seem to be 20$ and go all the way up toward 200$ for fancy ones.
