I lived in Clearwater when I was 16, didn't last too long, me and my stepmom didn't get along so she ended up tossing me out. Bitch! LOL.

It was pretty cool there from what I remember, I miss the water, been thinking of Tampa..... that was about 8 months ago. I have been in this desert too long, only nice thing is, it hardly ever rains here so it's always a good day to ride. Little warm in the summer and a bit cool in the winter, but all in all, not bad.... I also like that there is no helmet law here.

Got any RideNow locations near you? I'm looking for a FL rep ;) LOL.

it does take a bit to get use to, especially the food.... but on the bright side, I can ride all year long. ;) Totally got rid of the cage, my jeep was getting 15mpg on the hwy, although my bike is not the best, at 3.00 per gallon, 30mpg is still twice as goos as I was getting.

I'm not real big on Mexican food. What I miss is good Italian. Forget about finding good pizza here....I haven't had anything in the 3 states I have lived in (Arizona, So Cal, and Nevada) that can even come close to what you can get on the east coast. I have been thinking of riding back to Pitt just to get a good pie. LOL

Maybe this summer. Think I can almost make it (a bit out of the way though) without having to worry about a helmet. I don't mind the helmet, I can at least listen to music with it on, but it's hard to have a smoke with it.... it is a full face.

I need a long haul on this bike, longest I have been so far with it is from Surprise to Tucson, about 140 miles one way. We were heading to Tombstone, but it was a bit cold that day.... think it was only in the low 50's..... Yes, that is cold for us.... after a blistering summer of 110+ everyday and 90+ at night, 40's and 50's can get real chilly on a bike.

Now you're talkin my lingo desert boy*...lol OH YEAH! CEDAR POINT!...we're about 40 miles or less from it. That would even be a GREAT place for bikersite members to meet some year...For those who dont know, Cedar point is ranked the best amusement park IN THE WORLD..and has,I think,over 17 coasters alone*...and they are terrifying coasters! Best place on earth...Oh! and Corneo*...my nickname for this place is "Titty point*...check it out some time!

Is the Blue Streak still operational? I remember one year riding that as a kid, my seat belt was not that tight and I just about flew out of the seat the one hill was so steep.

Oh God ...SHep & his friends are like oversized kids when we go to Cedar Point. When we go with them, I literally have to fast walk and/or run to keep up! Theyre worse than our kids!

They still run the blue streak. That one is a neck breaker. Theyve got another one called the mean streak I think. Its bigger than the blue.

Alot of the coasters at Cedar Point downright frighten me. Im too old fer that shit. I dont care what Shep says ...when your heart starts to skip beats and you can no longer breathe ...thats not a good thing.

Last summer one of Sheps buddies went with us. He grabs my daughters hand and RUNS to the top thrill dragster. Its like one of those coasters that shoot you up to the heavens and then ya shot back down to earth. Hes sittin in the car with his arms in the air, they keep tell'n him to put his arms down but hes so sexcited he cant hear lol. Guess he didnt realize that being shot 140mph in the air might do some damage to his shoulder sockets.

Ohio has some beautiful country side. I am originally from NE PA, I use to love to go to Mill Creek Park over near Youngstown. There was a park there.... Idora Park. Ring a bell? Only 2 coasters, The JackRabbit, and The Wildcat. That was a great little park.

This time of year, our biggest burden are "Snowbirds". Man, they are everywhere and extremely deadly to bikers. Winter months are when they flock here and are here till about April. Man, a couple almost got me today.
