I've been with my wife now for 13yrs 1994 didn't get married too her until 2003 why cause of money and shit so what we did was this. Out of the blue one day I asked will ya marry me? yup but how can we pay for it was her response well that's easy we got a Justice of the Peace (JP) & a photographer sent a letter out to our mom's dad's and siblings and had them meet us a State Park (Southford Falls) in Ct. didn't tell them why and got married in a very small ceremony on the side of a waterfall to everyone's suprise. They all though we were having a picinic HAHAHA.... After that we invited them over to our house for cake and coffee the whole thing cost me like $600.00. during the next yr noone in the family knew we were married and it was our little secret cause during this time we were planning to get (Re-married) in front of everyone in a big ceremony. The same day a year later we did everyone thought it was great that we finally got married after having 2 kids out of wed lock and living together for 6yrs. But what they didn't know and still don't know is we were already married I didn't do it the second time for money or nothing just to make her as happy as I could. I know it isn't the traditional thing to do but it's our way. We did what we could at the time then saved like crazy for a year and had the big one with a honeymoon to Hawaii for 14 days.

A wedding dosen't have to be extrvagent to be enjoyed it just has to make the couple as happy as possible. I also know someone that was married in Sturgis during bike week, in Las Vegas, and someone that was married on Valentine's day for free by the mayor of thier town cause he does it every year on the green. They all Had a picnic when they got home for friends and family it was cheap and they all had a blast....

So I say to you if ya love her and she wants it do it small then save up for a Big party,pinic or whatever you can afford to celebrate... Okay I'm done now go be be happy with each other....Banane59 Banane59 Banane59
