View Full Version : new virus in a Email. Be carefull!!

I got this email and open it. It is a exe file that will run things from YOUR computer. Don't open it!

The first thing to notice it: it's doesn't go to a written out http address. (it just has a address)

2. there's no advertisement. (how do you think these type of companies make money)

3. There's no reply address. (they want you to use it, so they can make money)

4. I don't know this person.

They send it to me and I use a MAC. Which doesn't open exe files. (exe is a Windows only file) So needless to say it didn't effect me. But if you have Windows it will.

I removed the address (some of it) at least so you get an idea.

I've been getting alot of those the last few days. All are some kind of greeting card, haven't opened any just deleted them. Thanks for the info though.
